CasterHQ's 6-inch diameter by 3-inch wide Semi-Steel Wheels also known as Gray Iron Wheels are fully metal wheels and are less expensive than Ductile Wheels. Semi-Steel wheels are better for medium to heavy-duty applications if used on smooth concrete floors and applications where these do not take any type of overloading, impact, or abuse. On floors like untreated concrete, these wheels may cause the floors to decline and chip. Steel wheels are not meant to be used in applications that cause impact, shock, poor floors, floor obstacles or debris, overload, or any type of use with an automated powered towing system.
