All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.
The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.
W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.
Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.
BHP = Bolt Hole Pattern, shown under each plate.
Heavy-duty casters carry the loads that crush light and medium-duty rigs — 1,000 lb up through 16,000 lb per caster, on forged steel, ductile iron, and polyurethane-on-steel wheels. This is the category for industrial carts, machine bases, die handling, and any equipment where the caster is a structural component, not an accessory.

Heavy duty casters are engineered for extreme industrial loads, harsh environments, and continuous duty cycles where lighter designs fail. This category includes heavy duty caster configurations supporting loads up to 16,000 lbs per caster, depending on series and application.
Use this page to select the correct heavy duty caster configuration by plate size, performance design (kingpinless, low profile, AGV-rated), or operating environment (high heat).
Our team specifies heavy duty casters for manufacturing, aerospace, and distribution facilities every day. Here is what most buyers get wrong:
