How to measure

Expanding stem: measure the inside of the tube, not the outside. Each expanding adapter is listed for a narrow tube range, such as 1-1/8 to 1-3/16 in.
Threaded stem: measure across the threads and count threads per inch. 1/2-13 and 3/8-16 are the common sizes. Measure the length from the swivel to the tip.
Grip ring stem: measure the stem diameter and length. 7/16 x 1-3/8 in is the usual size for carts and furniture.

By stem size: 1/2 in threaded stem casters, 3/8 in threaded stem casters and threaded stem casters. Sockets: tee nuts and sockets.
