All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.
The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.
W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.
Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.
BHP = Bolt Hole Pattern, shown under each plate.

Expanding rubber adapter kits mount a stem caster in a hollow tube leg with no drilling or welding. Sizes for tube inside diameters from 3/4 to 1-7/8 in.

How the rubber expander locks into open tube legs: measuring inside diameter, selecting the adapter size, and seating the caster. Applies to every size on this page.
The kit is a rubber sleeve with metal washers on a stem. Tightening the stem shortens the sleeve and makes it bulge outward against the tube wall. Rubber grips round tube well and absorbs vibration, but it relies on friction, so it suits light and medium loads rather than heavy carts.
Work tables, prep tables, chairs, racks and display fixtures with open tube legs. For square tube, check that the kit is made for square or use a plate mount instead.
Casters with adapters fitted: casters for 1-1/2 in ID tube and expanding adapter casters.
Measure the inside diameter of the tube and pick the kit with that size. Sizes here run 3/4 to 1-7/8 in.
No. The rubber expands inside the tube and holds by friction.
Most fit a 1/2 x 2-9/16 in stem.
