All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.
The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.
W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.
Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.
BHP = Bolt Hole Pattern, shown under each plate.

Air cargo handling relies on ball transfers and heavy casters that move ULDs, pallets, and containers across cargo decks, loaders, and build-up stations with omnidirectional freedom and high point-load capacity. Ball transfer units let heavy containers rotate and slide in any direction on the deck, while cargo carts and dollies need shock-tolerant kingpinless casters. CasterHQ stocks ball transfers, heavy-duty cargo casters, and cargo control hardware, all in stock and priced for same-day shipping.

On a cargo deck the load has to go sideways, not just forward, and that is what ball transfers are for. We size the ball transfer to the container point load and set the spacing so a fully loaded ULD is always sitting on enough balls to rotate freely without a flat spot. Get the spacing wrong and heavy containers hang up.

Our team specs air cargo casters by load per caster, floor and environment, mount, and any compliance the application demands, then confirms fit before you order. We stock the range for same-day shipping from Mansfield, Texas, so replacements do not stall your equipment.
A ball transfer unit is a large load-bearing ball in a housing that lets heavy items slide and rotate in any direction. Cargo decks use arrays of them so ULDs and pallets move omnidirectionally.
Size each unit to the container point load and set spacing so the loaded item always rests on enough balls to distribute weight and rotate freely. Our team helps calculate spacing and rating.
Shock-tolerant kingpinless casters in the 6 to 8 in range handle the impact and high cycles of loaded cargo carts and dollies without kingpin failure.
Yes. We stock heavy-duty ball transfers and bearings for demanding cargo and material-flow applications, plus flying-saucer styles for specific deck layouts.
Both use high-capacity, non-marking, shock-tolerant mobility. Aerospace-rated casters carry ground support equipment across ramp and apron transitions alongside cargo handling.
Yes. We carry cargo control hardware including straps and tie-downs used with cargo carts and transport equipment, in stock for same-day shipping.
