This industry-standard 2″ wide stainless caster series is engineered for medium to heavy duty industrial applications requiring corrosion resistance, structural reliability, and predictable rolling performance. Manufactured from S304 stainless steel, these casters are designed for washdown, food processing, pharmaceutical, marine, chemical, and industrial environments where carbon steel fails.
Available in 4×2, 5×2, 6×2, and 8×2 wheel sizes with a 4″×4-1/2″ stainless top plate, this series supports both swivel and rigid configurations and is rated for loads up to 1,250 lbs per caster, depending on wheel material and diameter.
To optimize performance across different floors and environments, this stainless caster series supports multiple industrial wheel materials:
S304 stainless steel offers excellent corrosion resistance for most industrial and sanitary environments. Load ratings are based on controlled rolling conditions with properly distributed loads. For high-impact, shock loading, or continuous duty cycles, consult engineering guidelines when selecting wheel material and diameter.
S304 stainless steel is an austenitic stainless alloy known for corrosion resistance, durability, and suitability for washdown and sanitary environments.
Yes. This series uses stainless steel frames, mounting plates, and hardware, designed specifically for industrial duty applications.
Larger diameters roll easier over debris and support higher loads, while smaller diameters reduce overall equipment height.
Yes. S304 stainless construction is commonly used in washdown, food processing, and sanitary environments.
Divide total equipment weight by the number of casters, then apply a safety factor for dynamic loading.
Yes. This series is offered in both swivel and rigid configurations.
Concrete, epoxy, tile, and sealed industrial floors depending on wheel material selection.
S304 stainless is commonly used in food and pharmaceutical equipment. Always verify regulatory requirements for your application.
Yes. OEM and bulk configurations may support additional wheel materials.
This series uses a standardized 4″×4-1/2″ stainless steel top plate.
Service life depends on load, environment, and duty cycle, but stainless casters typically outlast carbon steel in corrosive conditions.
