Keyed drive wheels for AGVs, tuggers and powered carts: polyurethane treads on steel hubs with a keyway, 4 to 10 in, bores 1/2 to 1-1/2 in, rated 450 to 2,250 lb each.
A drive wheel has to put torque into the floor as well as carry weight. Polyurethane gives grip and holds its shape under load; the steel hub carries the keyway without cracking. Rubber grips better on wet floors but deflects more and wears faster under torque.
