Top-lock brake kits fit 30/34/35/40/46 series 5x2 wheels — foot-operated wheel-only lock. Posi-lock brake fits 21/24 series 5x1-1/4 wheels — positive lock for lighter casters. Both stocked. Specify by wheel size and series.
DuraStar 21/24 series uses 2-3/8" x 3-5/8" or 3-1/8" x 4-1/8" plate. 30/34/35/40/46 series uses 4" x 4-1/2" plate. Confirm cart top plate before ordering. We stock zinc-plated and stainless top plate options across most series.

Step up from 30 to 40 when your cart exceeds 600 lb single-caster load OR cycles 100+ swivel rotations per shift.
DuraStar is a U.S.-distributed brand with a mix of U.S. and international manufacturing depending on series. The S34 stainless and 40 series ductile steel kingpinless are U.S.-machined.
