All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.
The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.
W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.
Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.
BHP = Bolt Hole Pattern, shown under each plate.
10″ x 3″ splits into two distinct buyer worlds. Foam-filled flat-free and pneumatic for outdoor utility and shock-absorbing transport (275-300 lb per wheel), and heavy industrial polyurethane on cast iron + dual-wheel variants for the heaviest fleet applications (up to 7,000 lb per caster dual-wheel). 405 styles in stock. Buyers searching this size are typically replacing outdoor cart wheels for landscaping/agricultural OR replacing heavy industrial transport casters — not the same product class.

| Construction | Capacity | Best Use |
|---|---|---|
| Ever-Roll Foam Filled | 300 lb | Outdoor utility carts, no-puncture spec |
| Pneumatic Air-Filled | 250-275 lb | Outdoor with shock absorption (acceptable puncture risk) |
| Poly-Foam Flat-Free Replacement | 280 lb | Wheel-only outdoor replacement |
| Mold-On Rubber on Cast Iron | 900-1,000 lb | Medium-heavy indoor industrial, quiet |
| Polyurethane on Cast Iron | 3,000 lb | Heavy daily-use industrial transport |
| Green Poly on Iron Dual-Wheel | 7,000 lb | Heaviest 10″ x 3″ spec, dual-wheel capacity |
Ever-Roll is the CasterHQ brand name for the foam-filled flat-free tire design at the 10″ x 3″ and 10″ x 4″ sizes. Closed-cell foam fill replaces the air-filled tube of a standard pneumatic tire — eliminating puncture risk while preserving most of the shock-absorption benefit. The trade-off vs true pneumatic: about 20% higher rolling resistance and slightly less compliance on rough surfaces. The trade-off vs solid rubber: significantly better shock absorption.
Standard 4″ x 4-1/2″ medium-heavy industrial plate on most variants. Heaviest dual-wheel and 3,000 lb polyurethane-on-iron variants use the larger 4-1/2″ x 6-1/4″ plate. Foam-filled and pneumatic variants typically use 4″ x 4-1/2″.
Different wheel construction. Foam-filled and pneumatic have soft pliable tires with rim assemblies — capacity is tire-rated (275-300 lb). Polyurethane on cast iron is hard polymer on solid iron hub — capacity is hub-rated (3,000 lb for single wheel, 7,000 lb for dual wheel design). Two different products that happen to share the dimensional footprint.
Stock 10″ x 3″ casters ship same day from Mansfield, TX before 3 pm Central. Heavy variants ship LTL freight depending on quantity. For Ever-Roll and pneumatic, UPS Ground typically.
