These extreme duty casters are Hamilton builds for the heaviest continuous plant loads on racks, fixtures, and machine bases. Casters in this collection range from about 2,200 to 40,000 lb per caster. Ultra Maxi Duty and related dual forged titles sit at the top of the page. Wheel materials include polyurethane (poly or urethane), forged steel, and other extreme industrial treads. Soft polyurethane on aluminum (~85 Shore A) or TPR is the better pick when the floor has chips or debris. Most mounts are large top plates. Pronto stock ships faster. Custom builds take longer lead time. Choose swivel casters when the load must turn in place, rigid casters for straight travel, and add a brake when it needs to stay put.
