B&P Aluminum Pallet Dollies — 6, 8, 10-Roller, 4,000 to 8,000 lb, 22 Styles

B&P aluminum pallet dollies are sized to position pallets at production lines, packing stations, and storage racks. 22 styles in 4,000 / 6,000 / 8,000 lb capacity tiers across 36″x36″ through 42″x48″ deck sizes. 6, 8, and 10-roller designs — the roller count determines load distribution: more rollers = more contact patches = higher static and dynamic capacity at the same deck size.

6-Roller, 4,000 lbLight pallet positioning, standard warehouse use. 24x24 through 42x48 deck sizes.
8-Roller, 6,000 lbStandard production-line pallet positioning. Most-stocked tier. 36x36 to 42x48.
10-Roller, 8,000 lbHeaviest pallet dolly spec — production loads, hot-pallet transport. 36x36 standard.

How do I size a pallet dolly for my pallet?

The dolly deck must fit at least 90% of the pallet footprint. Standard GMA pallet is 48″x40″ — the 42″x48″ (4248) dolly handles it with a 6″ overhang on the 40″ dimension. For 48″x48″ square pallets, the 4848 deck is the match. For half-pallets (24″x40″) the 2424 dolly is sized to load the pallet evenly.

Why more rollers = more capacity?

Each roller is a load-bearing contact patch. A 6-roller dolly distributes the pallet load across 6 contact points; an 8-roller dolly across 8; a 10-roller dolly across 10. More contact patches means less load per roller (less stress on each bearing) and lower wheel deflection. The capacity rating scales linearly with roller count at the same deck size.

Aluminum deck — is it strong enough for steel pallets?

Yes. B&P’s aluminum decks are diamond-plate construction (typically 6061-T6 aluminum) reinforced with internal channel iron. Rated capacity is the deck’s structural limit, not the aluminum tensile limit. Steel pallets stack on B&P aluminum dollies without crushing or denting the deck.

Can I push these manually or do I need a tug?

Manual push at full capacity is feasible on smooth concrete — the 8-roller and 10-roller designs roll easily once started. For frequent or long-haul positioning, a powered tug (battery or pneumatic) is faster and reduces operator fatigue.

How do these ship?

LTL freight for all sizes due to deck dimensions. Individual dolly weight ranges 35-95 lb depending on size + roller count. Stock orders ship within 1 business day from Mansfield, TX. Fleet quantities (12+) at info@casterhq.com.
