All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.
The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.
W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.
Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.
BHP = Bolt Hole Pattern, shown under each plate.

Horticulture casters move nursery carts, greenhouse benches, and garden equipment across gravel, soil, concrete, and wet greenhouse floors, exposed to moisture, fertilizer, and outdoor weather. The spec favors corrosion resistance, larger diameters that roll over rough ground, and non-marking tread for finished greenhouse floors. CasterHQ specifies stainless and poly-on-aluminum casters, larger pneumatic-style and thermoplastic wheels, and light-duty garden cart casters for this environment, all in stock and priced for same-day shipping.

Outdoors, diameter is everything. A small wheel digs into gravel and soft ground and stalls the cart, so we go up in diameter before anything else and add corrosion resistance for the moisture and fertilizer. A larger thermoplastic or poly wheel rolls over rough ground that buries a small hard caster.

Our team specs horticulture & gardens casters by load per caster, floor and environment, mount, and any compliance the application demands, then confirms fit before you order. We stock the range for same-day shipping from Mansfield, Texas, so replacements do not stall your equipment.
Larger-diameter wheels bridge rough terrain and soft ground that stall small casters. Prioritize diameter, then a resilient tread that will not dig in.
Yes. Moisture, fertilizer, and outdoor exposure corrode plated steel. Stainless rigs and poly-on-aluminum wheels with sealed bearings last far longer outdoors.
Corrosion-resistant casters with non-marking tread and sealed bearings handle humidity and fertilizer while protecting finished greenhouse floors.
We stock larger-diameter solid and thermoplastic wheels that roll over rough ground without the puncture risk of air-filled tires, plus load ratings pneumatics cannot match.
Most nursery and plant carts use casters rated to roughly 300 to 500 lb each. Heavier bulk carts step up to larger-diameter, higher-capacity casters.
Yes. We carry light-duty garden and utility cart casters and wheels for lighter mobile equipment, in stock for same-day shipping.
