These AGV casters run 24/7 on automatic guided vehicles and continuous-duty plant carts. Casters in this collection range from about 950 to 15,400 lb per caster. The handle names the 15,400 lb top end. Active titles confirm that band from light AGV builds through heavy continuous-duty duals. Polyurethane (poly or urethane) treads dominate for floor-friendly continuous travel. Match duty cycle, plate, and overall height before you order. Choose swivel casters when the vehicle must turn in place, rigid casters for straight travel, and add a brake when the vehicle needs to stay put. Capacities below are per caster unless a listing says set. Dual wheel aisle: casters dual wheel. Heavy duty hub: heavy duty casters. Read the listing for the exact wheel size, overall height, and mount shown. Soft rubber or TPR is the better pick when the floor has chips or grit. Why AGVs need different casters

An AGV runs the same route all shift, often with tight turns and stops at the same spots. That wears treads and swivels faster than a hand-pushed cart. A polyurethane tread bonded to a steel center resists that wear and keeps its shape, and a consistent rolling resistance helps the vehicle's controls.

Size to the vehicle plus maximum payload, divided by the casters that can carry it on an uneven floor [S2].
Check plate size: 4-1/2 x 6-1/2, 5 x 7, 5-1/2 x 7-1/2, 6-1/8 x 7-1/2, 6-1/4 x 6-1/2 and 8-1/2 x 8-1/2 in are listed.
Nearly all list a tread range of -5 to 200°F.
