All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.
The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.
W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.
Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.
BHP = Bolt Hole Pattern, shown under each plate.
Caster shims and weld plates — steel shims for fine-tuning caster mount height (uneven floors, height matching across multiple casters) and weld-on plates for adding caster mounting surfaces to equipment that doesn't have factory mounts. Standard 4 x 4-1/2 and 5-1/4 x 7-1/4 sizes. Stocked at our Mansfield, TX facility.

Shims adjust caster mount height in 1/16, 1/8, and 1/4 inch increments. Weld plates create a flat mounting surface where one doesn't exist. Both are common in OEM and equipment retrofit work.
When a 4-caster cart has 1 corner that doesn't touch the floor, shim that caster to level the cart.
When equipment has no caster mount, weld a plate to the equipment leg and bolt the caster to the plate.
1/16, 1/8, 1/4 inch standard increments. Stack multiple for thicker adjustments.
Shims and weld plates match standard caster plate sizes — 4 x 4-1/2 most common.
