All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.
The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.
W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.
Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.
BHP = Bolt Hole Pattern, shown under each plate.

Defense and military casters carry transit cases, shelters, munitions carts, and depot equipment through rugged handling, impact, and harsh environments where failure is not an option. The spec favors shock-absorbing and kingpinless designs that survive drop and impact, high capacity, and corrosion resistance for field and coastal use. CasterHQ stocks heavy kingpinless, shock-absorbing, stainless, and aerospace-grade casters suited to defense duty, all in stock and priced for same-day shipping from Texas.

For anything that ships or gets airlifted, the shock event is the design case, not the static weight. A case can sit at 800 lb and still see thousands of pounds of transient load when it drops off a tailgate. We spec shock-absorbing kingpinless casters so the spring and raceway take the impact instead of the kingpin, which is what actually breaks in transit.

Our team specs defense & military casters by load per caster, floor and environment, mount, and any compliance the application demands, then confirms fit before you order. We stock the range for same-day shipping from Mansfield, Texas, so replacements do not stall your equipment.
Shock-absorbing kingpinless casters absorb the transient impact of drops and rough handling, while the kingpinless raceway resists the shear that breaks conventional kingpins in transit.
It varies by system, from transit cases in the hundreds of pounds to shelters and heavy equipment at 4,000 to 7,500 lb per caster. Size to loaded weight plus a shock safety factor.
Yes. Stainless rigs with sealed bearings resist salt air and washdown for shipboard and coastal depot equipment, in the same footprints as standard casters.
Kingpinless casters survive repeated shock and impact without the kingpin failure that grounds equipment. That reliability is the reason they dominate rugged, high-value applications.
Yes. We help standardize casters across depot and MRO equipment so replacements are predictable and stem, plate, and capacity choices stay consistent.
Yes. Send the load, environment, mount, and any spec requirements and our team confirms a compliant configuration before you order. Larger quantities run through our quote desk.
