Process
A caster is identified once, at purchase, when the spec is known. Everything after that is retrieval.
Name the machine, cart, or fixture in your own words and pick its type. SKUs, quantities, order number, and purchase date attach to the record automatically. Nothing is re-typed.
One photo taken standing next to the equipment. From then on, anyone on the team can match record to machine on sight, including people hired years after the original purchase.
Open the record, press reorder, and the same part numbers in the installed quantities go to the cart. No measuring plates, no guessing stem threads, no photos of worn casters emailed around.
