Polyurethane on Aluminum Wheel Casters

Industrial swivel, rigid, and total-lock casters for corrosion-prone and washdown environments. Also referred to as poly-on-aluminum or urethane on aluminum casters.
Wheel Sizes:
4″, 5″, 6″, 8″
Configurations:
Swivel, Rigid, Total Lock
Capacity:
Up to 1,250 lb per caster
Mounting Plate:
4″ × 4-1/2″
Wheel:
Polyurethane on aluminum core
Yoke:
Zinc-plated steel (rust resistant)

Best Applications

Designed for applications requiring smooth rolling, corrosion resistance, and high load capacity without floor marking.

Common industrial uses
  • Food processing and washdown equipment
  • Laboratory and pharmaceutical carts
  • Hospitals and institutional material handling
  • Bakeries and food service equipment
  • OEM and industrial production carts
When to choose a different caster
  • Severe shock or impact loading
  • Continuous exposure to aggressive chemicals
  • Applications requiring full stainless construction

Materials & Corrosion Resistance

Aluminum wheel cores provide inherent corrosion resistance and strength. Polyurethane treads are non-marking and roll more easily than rubber. The caster yoke is zinc plated for rust resistance in typical industrial environments.

Zinc plating improves corrosion resistance but is not equivalent to stainless steel in harsh chemical or continuous washdown conditions.

Need Full Stainless Steel Casters?

For aggressive washdown, corrosive chemicals, or stainless-specified applications, use our 304 stainless steel caster series.

Available Configurations & Buying Options

Offered in 4″, 5″, 6″, and 8″ wheel sizes with swivel, rigid, and total-lock designs. Multiple variations are available to match duty cycle and floor conditions.

Ordering formats
  • Single casters for replacements and mixed builds
  • Common sets of four for standard cart builds

Fit & Compatibility

Mounting plate size is 4″ × 4-1/2″. For replacement applications, match plate size first, then confirm bolt-hole compatibility on the product page.
