Garden cart wheels replace the worn or flat wheels on garden, nursery, and landscaping carts. Shop by wheel diameter, tread material, and axle bore, or by complete caster set when the mount is worn too.

What Garden Cart Wheels Do You Carry?

CasterHQ garden cart wheels run 6″ to 10″ in mold-on rubber, polyurethane, and semi-pneumatic tread, rated 500 to 1,000 lb. Mold-on rubber grips grass and gravel; polyurethane rolls easier on pavement and resists chemicals; semi-pneumatic cushions the ride without ever going flat.

How Do I Match a Replacement Garden Cart Wheel?

Match three things: wheel diameter, axle bore (hub inside diameter), and hub length. Diameter sets ride height and roll-over; bore and hub length decide whether the wheel seats on your existing axle. If the caster rig is worn too, replace the whole assembly instead of just the wheel.

Pneumatic vs Flat-Free vs Solid Garden Cart Wheels

Solid and semi-pneumatic wheels are the low-maintenance choice for garden carts — no air to lose, no punctures from thorns or gravel. True pneumatic wheels give the softest ride for delicate nursery loads but can go flat. For most garden and landscaping carts, semi-pneumatic is the best balance.

What Load Can Garden Cart Wheels Carry?

Our garden cart wheels carry 500 to 1,000 lb per wheel. A four-wheel garden cart therefore supports well over its rated payload, but apply a 33% derate for uneven yards and gravel — only three wheels share the load on bumpy ground.

Do You Have 20-Inch Garden Cart Wheels?

Our stocked replacement garden cart wheels run 6″ to 10″, which fit the large majority of garden and nursery carts. For oversized wagon wheels above 10″, call 844-439-4335 — we can source larger-diameter wheel-and-axle sets to order rather than list them here.

From Our Engineers

Buyers routinely order by diameter and forget the axle bore, then the wheel will not seat. Measure bore and hub length first. And on gravel or grass, semi-pneumatic beats hard poly — it cushions without the flat-tire risk.

Garden Cart Wheels FAQ

What size wheels do most garden carts use?
Most garden and nursery carts use 6-inch to 10-inch wheels. Measure your old wheel's diameter, axle bore, and hub length before ordering.
Are garden cart wheels flat-free?
Semi-pneumatic and solid options are flat-free. True pneumatic wheels can go flat but ride softest.
Can I replace just the wheel or do I need the whole caster?
Replace just the wheel if the axle and mount are sound. If the swivel or bearing is worn, replace the complete caster set.
