These casters are engineered for industrial high-heat environments where reliability under thermal cycling matters: autoclaves, steam cleaning, powder coating, curing ovens, and high-temperature carts. They are built around a high-temp phenolic wheel and a heavy-duty swivel/yoke designed to hold up in heat.
Wheel material
High-temp phenolic (resin reinforced with fiberglass) for heat resistance and impact durability.
Load capacity (room temp rated)
600–900 lbs per caster depending on wheel size. For sustained extreme heat/cold, reduce capacity by ~20%.
Swivel / yoke construction
Heat-treated fork with double ball bearing raceway and a 5/8″ kingpin bolt. Zinc plated for corrosion resistance.
Temperature performance
475°F continuous operation; up to 575°F intermittent for 1 hour.
Published load ratings are typically measured at room temperature. If the caster operates near maximum heat (or maximum cold) for long periods, reduce load by approximately 20% to maintain service life and safety margin.
If your application involves oven racks, bakery racks, or equipment used with consumable baked goods, use our dedicated food-safe category. Food workflows require materials selected specifically for consumable environments. Always verify application requirements before ordering.
View Food-Safe Bakery & Oven Rack CastersThis industrial category is optimized for heat durability in non-consumable environments. The food-safe category is optimized for ovens/bakeries.
This industrial series is not intended for consumable baked goods workflows. For oven/bakery applications involving consumables, use the food-safe bakery/oven rack caster category linked above.
Yes. Load ratings are typically listed at room temperature. If operating near maximum heat (or cold) for extended periods, reduce capacity by about 20% to maintain a safety margin and service life.
Autoclaves, sterilization equipment, steam cleaning processes, powder coating lines, curing ovens, and general industrial high-heat equipment mobility.
The swivel uses a heat-treated fork and a double ball bearing raceway with a 5/8″ kingpin bolt for strength, plus zinc plating for corrosion resistance.
Yes. Brake options are available on this caster series (when selected within the product options).
These calculators apply to any caster application—even if you’re browsing a different category. Use them to estimate load rating per caster, select wheel material, and estimate push/pull force. Expand any tool for full analysis + a share-ready spec line.
