All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.
The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.
W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.
Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.
BHP = Bolt Hole Pattern, shown under each plate.
The Z20P2431NGD is the industry-standard, OEM-style high-temperature oven rack caster commonly supplied on commercial bakery racks and oven racks from original equipment manufacturers. This model is designed as a direct replacement where dimensional accuracy, heat resistance, and food safety are required.
It features the most common oven rack mounting plate size: 3-1/8" × 4-1/8", allowing direct replacement without drilling or modification. This is the plate size used on the majority of commercial bakery and oven racks in the field.
The wheel is manufactured from a food-safe, high-temperature epoxy resin compound suitable for use around consumable goods. It is designed to withstand elevated temperatures, steam, oils, and repeated wash-down cycles without degrading or contaminating food-contact environments.

This caster matches the original configuration used by many commercial rack manufacturers. It is commonly installed on:
Important: This caster uses the 3-1/8" × 4-1/8" mounting plate. If your rack uses the larger 4" × 4-1/2" plate, this model will not fit.

Most bakery and oven racks use the 3-1/8" × 4-1/8" plate, but some manufacturers use a larger 4" × 4-1/2" pattern. Always measure your existing caster plate before ordering to ensure proper fit.
The wheel compound is designed for use around consumable goods. Its non-porous, high-temperature material resists absorption of oils, moisture, and food byproducts, making it suitable for regulated food environments.
This caster design is covered under U.S. Patent 3,052,650, reflecting the original engineered configuration used in commercial oven rack applications.

Yes. This caster matches the OEM-correct specifications and dimensions associated with the Z20P2431NGD part commonly used on bakery and oven racks.
Yes. The wheel material is food-safe and designed for use around consumable goods in high-temperature environments.
This caster is rated for continuous operation up to 475°F.
If your rack uses a 4" × 4-1/2" plate, you will need the larger-plate version. A link to that model is provided above.

This Z20P2431NGD 4" x 1.5" Epoxy Resin Oven Rack Caster – 3-1/8" x 4-1/8" is rated to 300 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.
This caster runs a Nylon wheel with a 1-1/2" tread width. Nylon resists chemicals and moisture and carries high loads, which suits washdown and wet environments.
This caster uses a top-plate mount. Measure your existing mounting holes before ordering; if you are replacing casters, match the bolt pattern - most standard patterns interchange across brands.
Rated for Up to 475°F. Operating outside the rated range can reduce wheel life and load capacity, so match it to your environment (wash-down, freezer, oven-adjacent, etc.).
The Nylon wheel performs best on smooth, hard industrial floors. For non-marking or clean-environment needs, ask us about matching tread options.
We accept purchase orders and offer Net 30 on approved accounts, ACH, and all major cards, plus tax-exempt ordering with a resale or exemption certificate. Volume discounts apply automatically; request a bulk quote for large or recurring orders. Stock items carry a 30-day return policy in unused condition (made-to-order items are non-returnable once production starts).
