Threaded Stem Casters

THREADED STEM CASTERS - 3" thru 5" - up to 350 lbs

Threaded stem casters are used where a compact mounting solution is required and a traditional top plate cannot be accommodated. They thread directly into tapped plates, inserts, or legs and are secured with a nut for positive retention. Commonly specified for carts, fixtures, mobile equipment, and OEM assemblies.

Threaded stem vs grip ring stem

Threaded stems provide positive mechanical engagement and are preferred where retention strength and alignment matter. Grip ring stems offer faster press-fit installation but rely on tube tolerances for holding power.

Wheel material options

Thermoplastic rubber (TPR): Quiet rolling, debris tolerance, floor protection
Polyurethane: Higher load capacity, chemical resistance, reduced flat-spotting
Phenolic: High capacity, oil and solvent resistance for dry environments
Metal wheels: Maximum durability where floor protection is not required
