EXTREME CUSHION rubber caster wheels provide a soft cushioned ride, great shock absorption and a very quiet operation. They can be used outdoors on grass, concrete, or dirt but are not recommended for use on gravel or sand.EXTREME CUSHION rubber wheels are nearly as resilient as pneumatic wheels all while eliminating any maintenance problems caused by air filled tires. The absence of air in the tire eliminates the risk of a flat tire. EXTREME CUSHION rubber caster wheels are known for their impact and noise absorption and shock absorption capabilities. They have an extra thick soft rubber tread bonded to a thick non corrosive aluminum wheel core. They are especially popular for use in Scientific and Electronic Laboratories, Hospitals, Hotels, Department Stores, TV and Movie Studios and wherever noise, decibel level, and vibration should be eliminated. They are ideally suited for moving fragile or delicate cargo as long as they are not over-loaded to the maximum weight capacity. This Extreme Cushion rubber wheel is known and used in as an industry standard replacement to the air filled pneumatic caster tires. We recommend the casters with gray soft rubber tires because they are a non-marking material unlike air filled pneumatics which contain black carbon in the rubber which can leave marks if the swiveling action is prevented from fulling turning in return could cause the wheel to drag on the floor instead of rolling leaving black marks.
