This Caster is commonly used on Baker Racks that take a Stem type mount instead of the bakery rack plate version. This caster is most commonly used in the food service industry on baker racks but can also be used in other industries as well.
This Caster listing includes a High-Temperature Glass-Filled nylon Wheel which is great for withstanding temperatures up to 425° Degrees Fartenheight Continuous use and up to 550° Degrees Farenheiught intermittently. This wheel is an excellent choice for autoclave and steam cleaning applications and has superior abrasion and impact resistance. The Durometer of the wheel is an 85 Shore D (+/-5). The most common applications we see this stem used on is bakery racks also known as oven racks. Be sure to check your current casters on your bakery racks prior to ordering to make sure you do not have the plate version oven rack caster instead which can be found here.
