CasterHQ's 4 inch Gray Non-Marking TPR Wheel comes assembled in a Stainless Steel Grade S304 Swivel Caster Yoke. Our Wheel is made from a proprietary Thermo Plastic Rubber compound molded to a polyolefin core. These wheels are known as the FX Formula XS Rubber Wheel. Our wheels are specially engineered to withstand harsh chemical environments and are resistant to greases, blood, oils, brine, solvents, and water including wash down applications. Our FX Formula XS Rubber Wheels are completely non-marking, quiet to roll, and soft to roll over obstacles and debris with ease. FX Formula Wheels come with Precision Ball Bearings which is a huge upgrade from most wheels with a plain bore. Precision Bearings help the caster roll easier and quieter while providing a very smooth ride. We've also upgraded these with small thread guards to protect the bearings from dust, debris, hair, and threads from accumulating between the axle and bearing to allow these casters and wheels a much longer lifespan than the competition. These wheels perform great on floors that contain metal shavings, gravel, dirt, and/or debris. We designed these to never flat spot which means you can leave your equipment or cart sitting on these wheels for longer periods of time and the wheel tread will remain resilient and always perform like new. These wheels are commonly seen on high-end furniture dollies, carts, dolly cart casters, food service cart casters, material handling cart casters, maintenance cart casters, stocking cart casters, clean room cart casters, computer cart casters, laboratory cart casters, medical cart casters, computer rack casters, and many institutional cart casters as well as clean room operations. The Stainless Steel Swivel Caster Yokes contains a double ball raceway for easy maneuverability and turning as well as Heavy Gauge Cold Rolled Steel construction for extra durability and we finish them off with a S304 Stainless Coating for complete rust resistance when exposed to wet and corrosive environments.
