This listing is for a 6" inch Diameter by 2" Tread Width Polyurethane on Cast Iron Wheel Rigid Caster. This caster comes with a larger 4-1/2" x 6-1/4" overall plate size and holds 1,200 lbs per caster. Polyurethane provides a higher weight capacity than rubber but offers the same floor protection due to the protective poly tread. The tread is between 90-95 Durometer Shore (A) with a 10mm Thick Polyurethane Tread chemically bonded to a heavy steel iron core. Polyurethane is non-marking, non-conductive, and non-staining. Polyurethane resists oil, grease, water, and solvents. Every wheel comes with zerk / grease fittings in the hub of the wheel for easy lubrication of the bearings. The axles provided are also zerk / grease axles for easy lubrication and maintenance of the bearings.
