All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.
The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.
W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.
Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.
BHP = Bolt Hole Pattern, shown under each plate.
Flat-free foam-filled wheels are solid polyurethane foam tires bonded to a steel or plastic hub — they look and ride like pneumatic tires but never go flat, never need air, and never strand a hand truck mid-shift. Built for hand trucks, dollies, generators, lawn equipment, and any application where a punctured tire means downtime.
Our flat-free poly-foam wheels carry 250 lb per wheel for the 8" × 2-3/4" size and 280 lb per wheel for the 10" × 3" size.
A four-wheel cart equipped with these supports roughly 1,000–1,120 lb total when the load is balanced. Always derate by 25% for shock loads, uneven floors, or off-road use, and pick the larger 10" wheel any time you can — bigger diameter rolls easier over cracks, thresholds, and gravel.
Pick flat-free anywhere puncture risk is high or downtime from a flat tire is expensive.
Measure the inside width of your axle bracket, then match it to a centered or offset hub.
Yes — polyurethane foam is UV-stable, won’t crack in winter, won’t mush in summer, and never loses pressure.
