What are threaded stem casters? Threaded stem casters mount using a bolt-like threaded post that screws into a matching threaded insert, nut, or receiver. They deliver the strongest retention of all stem types and are the preferred choice for industrial carts, machine bases, and equipment subject to vibration or heavy loads. Standard thread sizes include 3/8"-16 and 1/2"-13 UNC.

Threaded stem casters are specified where plate mounting is not practical and a compact, mechanically retained connection is required. These casters thread directly into tapped holes, inserts, or equipment legs and are secured with a nut for positive retention.
