The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.

W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.

12" x 3" Polyurethane Casters

Diameter: 12 inTread: 3 inCapacity: up to 7,000 lb

This collection gathers plate-mount casters used on tow-line carts and AGV fixtures. Expect wheel diameters 12 in, polyurethane treads, and capacities 7,000 lb. Harder poly rolls easier on smooth epoxy; softer poly cushions vibration on uneven slabs. Replace worn corners in matched sets when possible so the cart tracks straight under load. These heavy-duty options cover everyday tow-line carts and AGV fixtures without jumping to extreme forged series.
