The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.

W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.

Plate sizes: 2 x 3-3/4Capacity: up to 175 lb

Casters on the 2 x 3-3/4 plate pattern suit light institutional and furniture-grade frames. You will see capacities 175 lb across the SKUs listed below. Use kingpinless or heavy plate series when shock loads keep shearing kingpin races. Match bolt-hole spacing or stem diameter to the frame before you standardize a fleet. These light-duty options cover everyday light institutional and furniture-grade frames without jumping to extreme forged series.
