The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.

W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.

8" x 2" Stainless Steel Casters

Diameter: 8 inTread: 2 inCapacity: up to 1,500 lb

This collection gathers plate-mount casters used on warehouse carts, racks, and everyday plant fixtures. Expect wheel diameters 8 in, steel and stainless treads, and capacities 800 to 1,500 lb. Use kingpinless or heavy plate series when shock loads keep shearing kingpin races. Pair swivel and rigid casters for tracking, or use total locks where the cart must park on a grade. These medium-duty options cover everyday warehouse carts, racks, and everyday plant fixtures without jumping to extreme forged series.
