Match a 4-1/2 x 6-1/2 top plate when bolting casters under bake carts, metalworking fixtures, and debris-heavy floors. Typical builds show wheel diameters 3-1/4 to 8 in, polyurethane and phenolic treads, and capacities 1,100 to 3,000 lb. Phenolic shrugs off heat and oils that soften rubber or poly on bake and shop carts. Larger plates spread bolt stress on thick frames under continuous tow abuse.
