All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.

The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.

W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.

Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.

Diameter: 4 to 14 inTread: 1-5/8, 2-1/16 inCapacity: up to 18,000 lb
Cast iron and steel casters here serve V-groove track and guided rail systems. Expect wheel diameters 4 to 14 in, cast iron and steel treads, and industrial frames. When floors see chemicals or washdowns, prefer sealed bearings and non-absorbent wheel compounds. Use kingpinless or heavy plate series when shock loads keep shearing kingpin races. These extreme-duty options cover everyday V-groove track and guided rail systems without jumping to extreme forged series.

Flanged Track Wheels - WFT Series for Crane Ru: buying guide

Flanged wheels run on flat steel rail (not V-rail). A vertical flange on one side of the wheel keeps it centered on the rail, while the flat tread carries the load. Used for overhead crane runways, gantry crane bridges, factory transfer systems, and any application where the cart or trolley runs on flat rail rather than V-rail.
