All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.

The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.

W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.

Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.

V-Grooved Caster Wheels - Track-Guided, for V-groove track and guided rail systems. Typical builds show wheel diameters 4, 6, 8, 10 in, phenolic, cast iron, and steel treads, and industrial frames. Match bolt-hole spacing or stem diameter to the frame before you standardize a fleet. For dual-wheel or wide treads, check fork clearance and swivel radius in tight aisles. These extreme-duty options cover everyday V-groove track and guided rail systems without jumping to extreme forged series.

V-Grooved Caster Wheels: buying guide

A V-grooved wheel has a V-shaped channel machined into the tread that rides on an inverted-angle rail. The rail does the steering: the cart follows a fixed path with zero drift, hands-free.
