All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.

The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.

W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.

Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.

Hamilton Thread Guards TG Casters for bake carts, metalworking fixtures, and debris-heavy floors. Expect wheel diameters 4, 5, 6, 8 in, phenolic treads, and threaded-stem and plate-mount frames. Bring plate and stem measurements when replacing unmarked casters so the new corners sit level. Size capacity from the heaviest corner load with shock margin, and keep overall height consistent across the set.

Fiber-filled phenolic resin, molded under high pressure, enables these wheels to carry heavy loads without damaging floors, even in intermittent service. Ideal for industries requiring non-marking, corrosion-resistant wheels that can withstand extreme conditions.

Exceptional Temperature and Corrosion Resistance

These wheels resist corrosion from oil, water, grease, and common acids or solvents, and will not spark. They operate continuously in temperatures from -50° to 260° F and intermittently up to 300° F, making them suitable for a wide range of environments.

Versatile Bearing Options and Lubrication

Roller bearings are standard, with a choice of straight or precision tapered roller bearings in larger sizes. Tapered bearing wheels feature anti-slip installation, and sizes 5" and above have ball-check pressure lubrication fittings for enhanced maintenance and performance.
