All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.

The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.

W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.

Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.

470 Series polyurethane and cast iron casters sized for heavy industrial carts that tear up kingpin races. Catalog chips cover top plates around 5-1/4 x 7-1/4, wheel diameters 6, 8, 10, 12 in, and polyurethane and cast iron treads. When floors see chemicals or washdowns, prefer sealed bearings and non-absorbent wheel compounds. Larger plates spread bolt stress on thick frames under continuous tow abuse. These heavy-duty options cover everyday heavy industrial carts that tear up kingpin races without jumping to extreme forged series.
