The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.

W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.

12" x 3" Polyurethane Casters

Diameter: 12 inTread: 3 inCapacity: up to 1,630 lb

Polyurethane casters here serve warehouse carts on epoxy and smooth concrete. Catalog chips cover wheel diameters 12 in, polyurethane treads, and plate-mount frames. Confirm stem length and thread pitch on stem mounts so the shoulder seats flush in the boss. Harder poly rolls easier on smooth epoxy; softer poly cushions vibration on uneven slabs. These medium-duty options cover everyday warehouse carts on epoxy and smooth concrete without jumping to extreme forged series.
