The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.

W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.

This 27 series aisle groups plate-mount casters built for bake carts, metalworking fixtures, and debris-heavy floors. Typical builds show wheel diameters 3-1/4, 4, 6-1/4 in, phenolic, rubber, and cast iron treads, and capacities 500 to 1,200 lb. Match bolt-hole spacing or stem diameter to the frame before you standardize a fleet. Replace worn corners in matched sets when possible so the cart tracks straight under load.
