The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.

W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.

6" x 3" Forged Steel Casters

Diameter: 6 inTread: 3 in

Steel casters here serve warehouse carts, racks, and everyday plant fixtures. You will see wheel diameters 6 in, steel treads, and plate-mount frames across the SKUs listed below. Use kingpinless or heavy plate series when shock loads keep shearing kingpin races. Replace worn corners in matched sets when possible so the cart tracks straight under load. These medium-duty options cover everyday warehouse carts, racks, and everyday plant fixtures without jumping to extreme forged series.
