All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.
The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.
W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.
Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.
BHP = Bolt Hole Pattern, shown under each plate.
The B&P PTF series is the formed-aluminum platform truck spec. 15 styles spanning 24″x36″ (smallest) through 30″x72″ (largest) decks. 2,000 lb capacity across the range, diamond-plate aluminum deck (formed from a single sheet, no welds in the deck surface), tubular handle, and 5″ or 6″ non-marking poly or rubber wheels. Used for moving single heavy items across warehouses, loading docks, manufacturing floors, and freight terminals.

| B&P Model | Deck Size | Configuration | Wheel Spec |
|---|---|---|---|
| PTF-2436T-150-650 | 24″ x 36″ | T-Handle, 2,000 lb | 5″ non-marking poly |
| PTF-2448T-150-850 | 24″ x 48″ | T-Handle, 2,000 lb | 5″ non-marking poly |
| PTF-3048S-150-850 | 30″ x 48″ | Straight-Handle | 5″ non-marking poly |
| PTF-3048T-150-850 | 30″ x 48″ | T-Handle | 5″ non-marking poly |
| PTF-3060S-150-850 | 30″ x 60″ | Straight-Handle | 5″ non-marking poly |
| PTF-3072-150-850 | 30″ x 72″ | Straight or T-Handle | 6″ non-marking poly |
B&P’s PTF series uses formed aluminum diamond-plate construction — the deck is bent from a single sheet of 6061-T6 aluminum with NO welds in the deck surface. The advantages over welded steel platform trucks: (1) the formed deck is roughly 60% lighter than equivalent welded steel, so the empty cart pushes easier; (2) no weld points means no weld failure mode under repeated cargo impact; (3) aluminum doesn’t rust, which matters in food processing, washdown, and humid warehouse environments; (4) the formed deck has a higher fatigue resistance than welded construction over a typical 10-15 year service life.
For the heaviest applications (above 2,000 lb deck capacity), B&P’s welded platform trucks step in — see the Welded Platform Trucks collection for the higher-capacity steel variants.
T-handle (perpendicular to push direction): allows two-handed pushing with one hand on each side of the T — better for heavy loads and long-haul push distances. Straight-handle (parallel to push direction): single-hand operation, narrower clearance through doorways, faster maneuvering. Most warehouse buyers go T-handle for the operator ergonomics.
Non-marking polyurethane tread doesn’t transfer color or residue to floor surfaces. Required spec for retail, healthcare, hospitality, and finished commercial floors where wheel marks would show. The PTF series ships standard with non-marking poly. Rubber-tread alternatives available on special order for outdoor or rough-floor applications.
The formed aluminum deck rivets to a steel chassis frame underneath. The deck is structural — load transfers directly through the deck into the chassis perimeter. No center support pillars to dent under heavy point loads.
LTL freight in all cases due to deck dimensions. Stock orders ship within 1 business day from Mansfield, TX. Freight class and weight quote at order placement.
