B&P Junior Liberator Convertibles (SJR) — 500 lb Hand / 800 lb Platform, 6 Compact Variants

The B&P Junior Liberator (SJR series) is the compact convertible hand truck. 6 styles sized for tighter aisles, smaller doorways, and lighter cargo. 500 lb in hand truck mode, 800 lb in platform mode. Frame dimensions 14″ W x 44″ H — about 4″ narrower than the Senior Liberator. Used in retail back-of-house, hospitality service operations, light warehouse work, and shop environments where space constraints make the full Senior size impractical.

Pick the right SJR Junior variant

If you need the standard configuration with pneumatic wheels

Spec the base SJR (B75-C17-D5 codes) — 10″ pneumatic wheels, standard nose plate, the most-ordered Junior configuration. Default for retail back-room and light warehouse work.

If you need puncture-proof wheels (fleet daily use)

Spec the SJR-3 with 10″ poly hub wheels (B75-CA2-D6SS). The poly hub eliminates flat tire risk for unattended shift work where pneumatic flats would mean equipment downtime.

If you need narrow aisle/doorway clearance

The SJR base 14″ width fits through standard 32″ doorways with cargo loaded. For doorways under 30″, specify an even narrower variant on quote at info@casterhq.com.

If you need the conveyor-style Junior

The WEB-LCHTA-005 Junior Conveyor variant has a modified frame for conveyor-fed loading applications — spec for production line offloading where the hand truck receives cargo from a conveyor belt.

How does Junior Liberator compare to a standard 2-wheel hand truck?

Same upright hand truck mode (500 lb cargo, 14″ W x 44″ H frame). The advantage is the conversion mechanism — the same equipment becomes an 800 lb platform truck when you need to move a single heavy item flat. One piece of equipment handles both jobs. The trade-off: cost premium of 30-40% vs equivalent fixed 2-wheel hand truck.

Will the Junior fit through a residential doorway?

Standard residential doorway clearance is 32″ with door open. The SJR Junior at 14″ W passes through easily with cargo loaded. For doorways under 30″ (older buildings, narrow corridors), confirm exact doorway width before ordering — some variants reach 15″ W with mounted accessories.

What’s the difference between SJR (pneumatic) and SJR-3 (poly hub)?

Wheel construction. Pneumatic = air-filled tire with rubber casing; better shock absorption, can puncture. Poly hub = solid polyurethane wheel; never punctures, slightly less shock absorption, runs more quietly on smooth concrete. SJR-3 (poly) is the spec for fleet operations where flats would be a problem; SJR base (pneumatic) is the cost-effective choice for lighter use.

How fast does this ship?

Stock SJR variants ship same day from Mansfield, TX before 3 pm Central. UPS Ground to most US destinations in 2-3 business days. Custom A-B-C-D combinations have 2-4 week production lead time.
