All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.
The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.
W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.
Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.
BHP = Bolt Hole Pattern, shown under each plate.
Wheel = wheel diameter · capacity is per wheel.

If the axle or hub does not match, it is often simpler to replace the whole caster. See TPR casters.
A crowned tread is rounded across its width, so less of it touches the floor. It turns more easily under load. A flat tread spreads the load wider and wears more evenly on long straight runs.
The product descriptions list food service, hospitals and laboratories [S1]. The gray tread is listed as non-marking, so it suits carts on finished floors. For heavier wheels see rubber wheels or polyolefin wheels.
No. They are wheels only. Casters with the same tread are on the TPR casters page.
A polyolefin plastic core with the gray thermoplastic rubber tread bonded to it.
From 150 lb for the 2-1/2 in wheel to 600 lb for the 8 x 2 in wheel.
