W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.

Capacity: up to 125 lb

Mbt 5/8 Series for chemical, food-contact, and washdown carts. Expect nylon, steel, and stainless treads, industrial frames, and capacities 125 lb. Match bolt-hole spacing or stem diameter to the frame before you standardize a fleet. Use kingpinless or heavy plate series when shock loads keep shearing kingpin races. These light-duty options cover everyday chemical, food-contact, and washdown carts without jumping to extreme forged series.
