The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.

W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.

When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.

Durastar MX polyurethane on nylon wheels

This collection holds MX with polyurethane treads, made to replace worn wheels on carts, dollies, racks, and equipment. Wheels in this collection range from 1,600 to 3,000 lb per wheel. Wheels in this category range from 6 up to 10 inches in diameter with 2-1/2 to 3 in tread widths. Polyurethane (poly or urethane) treads are quiet, floor safe, and resist water and many chemicals.
