Spring-Loaded Champion SPCH Casters — Up to 1,630 lb

The SPCH Series builds a spring suspension onto Hamilton's heavy-duty Champion rigging — up to 1,630 lb per caster. It's the spring-loaded option when the load runs heavier than the Workhorse-based SPWH handles, on the same forged-platform Champion base that anchors Hamilton's heavy-duty range.

Champion rigging plus spring suspension

The Champion platform — forged top plate, tapered raceway — is Hamilton's heavy-duty workhorse rigging. SPCH adds the built-in spring: the caster compresses over impacts so the shock is absorbed, not transmitted. The result is suspension on a genuinely heavy-duty base, rated to 1,630 lb per caster — more than the Workhorse-based SPWH, on rigging built for the abuse.

Where SPCH belongs

Heavier tow-line carts and transfer equipment that both carry real load and take repeated impact — the combination that justifies a spring on a heavy-duty rig. Rough-floor routes, dock-plate crossings under load, coupling-shock applications where the load is too heavy for the lighter spring platforms.

Common questions

SPCH vs SPWH?

Both spring-loaded. SPCH builds on heavy-duty Champion rigging (to 1,630 lb); SPWH builds on Workhorse rigging (to 1,200 lb). Pick by load.

What does the spring do?

Compresses over impacts to absorb shock — floor seams, dock plates, tow-bar coupling — instead of transmitting it into the load and equipment.

Is SPCH heavy duty?

It's the heaviest of the spring-loaded Champion/Workhorse pair at 1,630 lb. For heavier spring-loaded needs, see the AEZ Forge spring series.
