Thermoplastic Cart Wheels

This collection holds Thermoplastic Cart Wheels casters with TPR wheels, built for shop carts, equipment, and material handling carts that move heavier loads. Casters in this collection range from 90 to 2,000 lb per caster. Wheels in this category range from 2 up to 12 inches in diameter with 1 to 10 in tread widths. The collection includes swivel, rigid, and brake models. Thermoplastic rubber (TPR) is quiet, will not mark floors, and rolls over chips and grit. Soft rubber or TPR is the better pick when the floor has chips or grit. Match the stem size and thread before you order. Choose swivel casters when the cart must turn in place and rigid casters for straight travel. Read the listing for the exact wheel size, overall height, and mount shown. Confirm the load rating printed on the title before you order. TPR aisle: tpr casters. Wheel hub: replacement wheels.

Choosing Durastar thermoplastic cart wheels

Load: divide the loaded weight by three for a four-caster cart [S2]. Among Durastar thermoplastic cart wheels, a 600 lb caster then suits about 1,800 lb, and the strongest at 1,000 lb about 3,000 lb.
Mount: most Durastar thermoplastic cart wheels use a 4 x 4-1/2 in top plate; 2-3/8 x 3-5/8 in and 4-1/2 x 6-1/4 in plates are listed too; measure bolt hole centers on the old plate and compare.
Floor: on Durastar thermoplastic cart wheels, rubber and polyurethane protect finished floors and run quietly; check the rating if the cart also crosses rough concrete.
Rig: swivel and rigid Durastar thermoplastic cart wheels are listed, with side lock brake and top lock brake options.
