All measurements indicate the wheel diameter by the tread width.

The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.

W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.

Plate dimensions shown are overall mounting plate size.
When replacing existing casters, select the closest plate size and verify bolt-hole compatibility.

Plate sizes: 4-1/2 x 6-1/4Bolt holes: 2-7/16 x 4-15/16 slotted to 3-3/8 x 5-1/4Diameter: 10 inTread: 2 inCapacity: up to 2,500 lb
Match a 4-1/2 x 6-1/4 top plate when bolting casters under warehouse carts on epoxy and smooth concrete. Typical builds show wheel diameters 10 in, polyurethane treads, and capacities 2,500 lb. Replace worn corners in matched sets when possible so the cart tracks straight under load. Larger plates spread bolt stress on thick frames under continuous tow abuse. Confirm stem length and thread pitch on stem mounts so the shoulder seats flush in the boss.
