The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.

W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.

8" x 2" Polyurethane Casters

Diameter: 6, 8 inTread: 2 inCapacity: up to 1,500 lb

This collection gathers plate-mount casters used on warehouse carts on epoxy and smooth concrete. You will see wheel diameters 6, 8 in, polyurethane treads, and capacities 1,250 to 1,500 lb across the SKUs listed below. Confirm stem length and thread pitch on stem mounts so the shoulder seats flush in the boss. Use kingpinless or heavy plate series when shock loads keep shearing kingpin races.
