The below capacity ranges indicate the working (dynamic) load that each caster will support. A safety factor should be included in your formula to determine your required load rating per caster.

W/(C-1)=R W is total weight needed to move. C is total number of casters required. R is ideal load rating, with safety factor built in. Divide the total load weight by one less caster than you will use to safely determine load rating.

Diameter: 2 inCapacity: up to 3,333 lb

Flat Hooks - 1,666 lb-3,333 for heavy warehouse carts, die carts, and plant fixtures. Expect wheel diameters 2 in, industrial frames, and capacities 1,666 to 3,333 lb. Confirm stem length and thread pitch on stem mounts so the shoulder seats flush in the boss. When floors see chemicals or washdowns, prefer sealed bearings and non-absorbent wheel compounds. These heavy-duty options cover everyday heavy warehouse carts, die carts, and plant fixtures without jumping to extreme forged series.
