The Durastar 2" x 7/8" Soft Rubber Swivel Caster (01-S-278-SR80-00) is a versatile light-duty caster designed for various applications. With its 90 lb capacity and soft rubber wheel, this caster offers a perfect balance of durability and floor protection.

As part of the Durastar 01 Series, this caster is engineered to handle up to 100 lbs (45 kg), making it a reliable choice for light-duty applications. The soft rubber wheel provides excellent floor protection and noise reduction, ensuring smooth operation in various environments.
The 1-1/4" x 2-1/16" top plate allows for easy installation on a wide range of equipment. The 1/4" mounting bolt diameter and 13/16" x 1-9/16" bolt pattern ensure secure attachment. Regular cleaning and inspection of the wheel and swivel mechanism will help maintain optimal performance.
This 2" x 7/8" Soft Rubber Swivel Caster – 90 lb is rated to 90 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.
This caster runs a Gray Rubber wheel with a 7/8" tread width. Rubber absorbs shock and protects floors, and runs quietly, which suits noise-sensitive and light-to-medium duty use.
This caster uses a Grip Ring Stem mount (2" x 7/8" stem). Stem casters press or thread into a socket - verify the stem diameter and length match your existing setup before ordering.
This is a Swivel caster. Swivel casters rotate 360 degrees for full maneuverability. For most mobile equipment we recommend 2 swivel + 2 rigid, or 4 swivel with at least 2 brakes.
Rated for -20°F to 180°F. Operating outside the rated range can reduce wheel life and load capacity, so match it to your environment (wash-down, freezer, oven-adjacent, etc.).
The Gray Rubber wheel performs best on rough, uneven, or outdoor surfaces such as asphalt, gravel, and cracked concrete. For non-marking or clean-environment needs, ask us about matching tread options.
