This Shepherd PSD50223BK-U 2" Urethane Swivel Self-Braking Caster – 75 lb is rated to 375 lbs per caster. Size a set by dividing the total load by the number of casters, and for uneven floors assume 3 of 4 casters carry the load. Keep continuous-use loads within about 75-80% of the rating.
This caster uses a Grip Ring Stem mount (7/16" x 7/8" stem). Stem casters press or thread into a socket - verify the stem diameter and length match your existing setup before ordering.
This is a Swivel caster. Swivel casters rotate 360 degrees for full maneuverability. For most mobile equipment we recommend 2 swivel + 2 rigid, or 4 swivel with at least 2 brakes.
The overall height (floor to top of plate or stem) is 2-7/16". Account for it when checking equipment clearance, dock height, and ergonomic working height.
